Faculty READ, International! Read the book, See the movie!

Dean Stover (GateWay English, Humanities and Religious Studies faculty), reads "I Served the King of England" by Bohumil Hrabal, a Czech author.

Book Jacket: I served the King of England

Inspired by a recent trip to Prague, in the Czech Republic, where he studied Czech literature, Dean selected this picaresque novel for its "Czechness."  It has recently been made into a motion picture.  See the DVD in the Library.

A Book Discussion was held in the Library.
