Questions & Answers

What are the hours of the Library? and, Where is the Library located?

See About the Library for our current hours and how to locate the Library on campus.

How do I get a Library card?

A GateWay student ID card serves as a Library Card and may be obtained at GateWay Central in the South building. The first card is free to registered students. The card is good not only for services within the Library, but also for access to the computer labs on campus. The Library can also issue just a Library Card or a Library ID number. Library cards are free of charge to any resident of Maricopa County over the age of 18, with a current photo ID and proof of address. Young people under the age of 18, not currently enrolled at GateWay, must be supervised by a parent and are not elgible for card services.

GateWay Library cards and ID's are valid at all 10 Maricopa Community College libraries for checking out materials. Each of the libraries has different policies regarding check-out, overdue fines and library debts. The cardholder is responsible for all materials checked out on his or her card.
